Refund Policy

Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Our return policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.   

Faulty or Incorrect Products

  • If you receive a faulty or incorrect product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • We will arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the nature of the fault and your preference.

  • We will cover the return shipping costs for faulty or incorrect products.

  • Please provide proof of purchase and clear photos or videos of the fault or incorrect item.

Change of Mind Returns

  • We may accept change of mind returns at our discretion.

  • To be eligible for a change of mind return, the product must be: 

    • Unused and in its original packaging.

    • In a resalable condition.

    • Returned within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • You will be responsible for the return shipping costs for change of mind returns.

  • A restocking fee of 20% will apply.

  • Refunds for change of mind returns will be processed after we receive and inspect the returned product.

Exclusions

  • Some products will be excluded from our return policy due to hygiene reasons (e.g., opened toilet seats). 

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper installation is not covered by our return policy.

  • No returns on Sale items, Ex-Display Items and Special Order Items.

Return Process

  • To initiate a return, please contact us at admin@bathroomessentails.com.au with your order number and reason for return.

  • We will provide you with a return authorization and instructions on how to return the product.   

  • Please package the product securely to prevent damage during transit.

  • Include a copy of your proof of purchase with the returned product.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns.

Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving the returned product.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the product is faulty or incorrect.

Repairs

  • If a product can be repaired, we will arrange for the repair at our expense.

  • Repairs will be carried out within a reasonable timeframe.
